Post statuses explained

Every post is always in exactly one state:

Draft — saved but not scheduled. Lives under Drafts.

Pending approval — waiting for a reviewer's decision. Lives under Approvals.

Scheduled — approved (or approval not required) and waiting for its publish time. Lives under Scheduled and on the calendar.

Posted — published to its platforms. Lives under Posted.

Failed — publishing didn't succeed on at least one platform; see the failed-post article for fixes.
