Approving posts via WhatsApp

Approvers don't need a Post layer account or login — the whole review happens inside WhatsApp.

1. 1Turn on post approval for the client's workspace.
2. 2Add the approver's WhatsApp number when inviting them to the workspace (or later in workspace settings).
3. 3When a post that requires approval is created, the approver instantly gets a WhatsApp message with the post's image and caption.
4. 4They tap Approve — the post is released and publishes at its scheduled time (or immediately, if it was set to publish on approval).
5. 5Or they tap Request changes and leave a short comment on why — the post returns to draft and you're notified by email.

Where do pending posts live?

Everything awaiting a decision is listed under Approvals in the dashboard, where you can also approve, deny or retract posts in-app. WhatsApp and in-app decisions are fully interchangeable — whichever comes first wins.
